Will be held on Sunday, 2nd February 2025, commencing at 3:00pm at the Kharwastan Temple.
Daily Prayers
Will commenc e at 6:00pm on Weekdays. On Weekends at 3:00pm
Thai Poosam Kavady Festival
Will be held on Tuesday , 11th February 2025, commencing at 8:00am at the Kharwastan Temple thereafter proceeding to Penguin Street Grounds.
Flag Dehoisting Ceremony
Will be held on Tuesday, 11th February 2025 directly after the Kavady prayer
DEVOTEES NOTE
- All devotees are responsible for providing the flowers and decorating their Kavady.
- All devotees are kindly requested to book their Kavady in advance.
- Donations in cash or kind and assistance during the festival will be most welcome.
- Individuals wishing to sponsor daily meals are requested to contact the officials in advance.
- Devotees are responsible for providing their own milk, 2 x 250ml milk containers are required for those devotees carrying Kavady.
- Those Devotees carrying paal kodum must bring enough milk to fill their pots.
- Devotees are responsible for undoing their Kavady at the end of the prayer festival. Flowers, Leaves etc must be taken away from the temple property
