Chithirai Paruvam Kavady Festival Main Prayer
Will be held on Tuesday , 23rd April 2024, commencing at 8:00am at the Kharwastan Temple.
Flag Dehoisting Ceremony
Will be held on Tuesday, 23rd April 2024 directly after the Kavady prayer
Idumban Poojay
Will be held on Thursday, 25rd April 2024, commencing at 10:30am
DEVOTEES NOTE
- All devotees are responsible for providing the flowers and decorating their Kavady.
- All devotees are kindly requested to book their Kavady in advance, even if individuals are bringing their own Kavady.
- Donations in cash or kind and assistance during the festival will be most welcome.
- Individuals wishing to sponsor daily meals are requested to contact the officials in advance.
- Devotees are responsible for providing their own milk, 2 x 250ml milk containers are required for those devotees carrying Kavady.
- Those Devotees carrying paal kodum must bring enough milk to fill their pots.
- Devotees are responsible for undoing their Kavady at the end of the prayer festival. Flowers, Leaves etc must be taken away from the temple property
